10 crochet patterns to make in March.

10 Crochet Patterns to Make in March

1. Checkered Heart blanket

The Checkered Heart Blanket is cute, cool, AND cozy!

This easy crochet blanket features 20 heart squares using 4 colors. It uses the half double crochet stitch for the squares and single crochet for the border so it’s beginner friendly!

I used Lion Brand Yarn Color Theory in the color Canyon, Bone, Bee Pollen, and Ivory. You can use as many (or few!) colors as you’s like though.

You can also make as many squares as you want to get your desired size!

2. hello sunshine coaster

Brighten up your coffee time with the Hello Sunshine Coaster!

This crochet coaster works up quick and easy, and only uses about 24 yards of yarn!

It features an amazing texture mimicking the suns rays with front post stitches! It also has a fun, fringe border!

These are great for making for your own home, giving as gifts, or selling at Spring and Summer craft fairs!

3. hello sunshine placemat

Pair the Hello Sunshine Coaster with the Hello Sunshine Placemat for a sunny table setting!

The placemat is just a larger version of the coaster! It features the same amazing textures and can be made with a fringe border or pointed border!

This crochet placemat is perfect for plates but can also be used to as a plant mat!

4. Easy Plant Hanger

The Easy Plant Hanger works up quick!

This crochet plant hanger uses t-shirt yarn which looks beautiful and is strong and durable! I used t-shirt yarn from KnitzNPurlz, find it HERE!

Use in your house or on your porch or patio!

It can hold almost any size plant pot and is great for gifts!

5. Brecken basket

The Brecken Basket is a beautiful crochet basket that’s perfect for holding all sorts of things!

It measures about 10″ x 10″ and uses 2 strands of bulky 5 weight yarn held together to create a sturdy basket!

I used Lion Brand Yarn Hue + Me in the colors Salt, Werewolf, and Saffron.

I shared the free crochet pattern on the Clover USA blog, find it HERE!

6. fade away shawl

The Fade Away Shawl is perfect for Spring!

It’s lightweight and can be dressed up or down.

You can also make it any size by repeating the rows as many times as you’d like!

I used Lion Brand Yarn Ombre Life, which is now unfortunately discontinued, but you can use any fine/sport 2 weight yarn. A great substitution would be WeCrochet/KnitPicks Visions.

The Picot Bandana is one of my most popular patterns for Spring and Summer!

It features the most beautiful texture from picot single crochet stitches! It also works up quick and easy!

This pattern includes multiple sizes for babies, kids, and adults so you can make one for anyone!

I used Lion Brand Yarn Color Theory in the colors Canyon, Bee Pollen, and Tourmaline.

10. Lemon and lime cuddlers

How cute are these Cuddlers! The Lemon Cuddler and Lime Cuddler are squishy and adorable!

They’re made with Bernat Blanket Yarn so they are super soft too!

The Lemon Cuddler measures about 16″ across and uses yellow Bernat Blanket Yarn. The specific shade I used (Pale Marigold) is now discontinued but you can use these other Bernat Blanket Yarn yellows: School Bus Yellow, Buttercup, or Sunsoaked.

The Lime Cuddler measures about 10″. I used Bernat Blanket Yarn in the color Little Leaf which is also discontinued. Bout you can use these other Bernat Blanket Yarn colors: Lemon Lime or Lime.
