Design

This design may look intimidating but I promise it’s easier than it looks! Both the free version and ad-free, easy to print pdf include both written instructions and a graphs to follow along with. No matter how you follow along with this pattern, I find it helpful to print off the instructions and cross off each row when it’s worked. This helps you keep your place and stay organized. This design uses the intarsia crochet technique which uses bobbins to create a clean finish. The pillow is made up of two panels, the front has the faux fur tree and the back is just buffalo plaid.

Yarn

For the buffalo plaid I used Lion Brand Yarn Color Made Easy in the colors Caviar, Pomegranate, and Crimson. I love the look of classic red buffalo plaid but I think this design would look amazing with any color combination! For the faux fur tree I used Lion Brand Yarn Go For Faux in the color Baked Alaska. If you’re not interested in using faux fur yarn though, you can substitute it with Color Made Easy. Be sure to use contrasting colors for the background and the tree, so that you’re able to see the design clearly. You can shop all Lion Brand Yarn HERE!
