Design Inspiration

This bell pepper is the fifth pattern for the Pregnancy Progress Project! Measuring about 5.5″, it’s the same size as a baby at 18 weeks of pregnancy! Not only is this great for tracking your pregnancy, but if you made a bunch in different colors, they’d be an adorable decor piece in a bowl on the kitchen counter! I hope you enjoy this tutorial, now let’s get making!

Insert your hook across the hole and through to the 3rd ST. SL ST into the 3rd ST to close the opening. Tie off and weave in end.

To create the bumps of the pepper: Take the long, red tail and insert it through the center hole on the bottom of the pepper. Bring it back up through the pepper and onto the opposite side of where you went down. Bring it back down and through the bottom hole again. Bring it back up onto the other side of the pepper (between the last two strands). Repeat until you create as many bumps as you’d like.
