Cloud Nine Collection
The Cloud Nine Cowl is the 3rd Cloud Nine pattern!
The Collection also includes the Cloud Nine Headband and Cloud Nine Beanie.

Both of these patterns will make the perfect set with the cowl!
They all features the same bumpy texture and use the same yarn. Each works up quick and easy making them great beginner projects!

yarn
The Cloud Nine Beanie pattern uses super bulky 6 weight yarn to create a super chunky and warm hat!
I used Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease Thick and Quick in the color Flax for mine.
Feel free to sub with any super bulky 6 weight yarn. Some other options are Lion Brand Yarn Hometown, Yarn Bee Dream Supreme, Premier Yarns Poppy, and Premier Basic Super Bulky.

sizes
This pattern includes 2 sizes: Child and Adult. See the size chart below for the measurements of each.
You can easily customize the length and width to be any size though!
To adjust the width/circumference: work any even number of stitches for your foundation chain.
To adjust the height: repeat rounds 2 & 3 until your desired height is reached.
| Sizes | Cowl Circumference | Cowl Height | Yardage |
| Child | 22.5“ | 6“ | 78 yards |

notes
- This pattern is worked in joined rounds. At the end of each round join with a SL ST.
- The rounds that use the Berry ST are always worked on the ‘wrong side’ so that the ST bumps out on the ‘right side’. The rounds that use only SC are worked on the ‘right side’. At the end of each round, CH 1 & turn.
- The CH at the beginning of each round does not count as a ST.
- The numbers in (parenthesis) at the end of each round represent the number of stitches to be worked that round.
- To adjust the size of the cowl:
- Width/Circumference: work a multiple of 2 for the foundation chain.
- Height: repeat rounds 2 & 3 as many times until you reach your desired height.

Working in the back bump of the chain
When you look at the back of your foundation chain, you will see a loop bumping out on the back. Work your stitches for Round 1 into that back bump instead of the top of the chain. This will create a nice, clean edge for the bottom of the cowl.
Berry Stitch (Berry ST)
Yarn over and insert hook into next ST. Yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 1st loop on hook. Yarn over and insert hook back into the same ST, yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on your hook.
