I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I moved to Ohio, USA in 2014 to live with my husband and step daughter. Up until we welcomed our baby girl in 2018, I was a stay at home wife just trying to make enough money to pay for my hobby. Now, I am so lucky to be a stay at home mom and entrepreneur!
The Turtle Trunk
In 2015, I learned to crochet and quickly fell in love with it. YouTube was my teacher and I started my crochet business The Turtle Trunk in 2016. I opened up an Etsy shop to sell my finished items, then later moved to designing and selling my own original patterns.
I started my blog and YouTube channel to share my patterns and to help teach others to crochet. YouTube has been an amazing way to share my patterns and to teach techniques for others who are visual learners like myself! My goals with my blog and YouTube Channel are to make my patterns accessible and easy to follow for all, as well as to show how fun and easy crochet is!
